Blockchain Hardware
Blockchain hardware involves the use of specialized computer or electronic hardware designed to facilitate the secure storage and processing of data on the blockchain. The hardware is designed to ensure that the data remains secure, immutable, and tamper-proof. Examples of blockchain hardware include specialized ASICs, FPGA boards, and GPUs.
ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits) are specialized computer chips designed to perform one specific task. FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) are configurable integrated circuits that can be customized for different tasks. GPUs (Graphics Processing Units) are designed to process graphics but can also be used to process certain blockchain tasks. All three types of hardware can be used for efficient and secure blockchain processing.
